Etti 150 won't work - no beeps - Help

I just purchased a nice used mean machine with a 1520 castle and an etti 150 with cap bank. I can't get it to work at all.
When I plug it in there is a big spark so the caps are charging good but no beeps or sounds from the esc. I am using a bec battery
Pack and my steering works good. I have tried everything as per the etti instruction manual but am getting no response from esc.
Seems like the esc must be a DOA but want to make sure I am not missing something.

Check the values on your throttle channel?

The throttle is set to go to 100%. And I made sure the throttle trim is at 0. Centered. I can use the same reciever and remote with my castle hv200 in my TB and it works fine. Plug in the etti and nothing. Is the another throttle menu that I should look at?

Have also tried a second set of batteries and the bec battery out of my TB and nothing.

ive never owned an etti esc, but some of my other esc's require the throttle trim to be at 100%. try some different stuff like that, and throttle reverse maybe. i also do that with some of them. just some ideas

Tried changing trim and reversing throttle. Also tried with my dx2s and
My proboat remote. Still nothing.
Instruction manual says it should beep
But I get nothing.
