    Turnigy 180a ESC question

    Can someone tell me what the black rubber wrapped thing on the bottom of the pic is??? It looks like a small bank of ????

        HK must have added the extra caps. They are not shown in the picture on the website

              Most of the vendors did not bother to update their web pictures, but it's been like this for over a year or two, it is from the factory, both Seaking and Turnigy are really Hobbywing products.
              I don't know why the wires are so thin and why this particular length, but this allows me to tuck this cap bank neatly behind the big ones or "wedge" it between the big ones and the heatsink. I use either zip tie or electrical tape the immobilize the cap bank.
              Too many boats, not enough time...

                ...as if a bank of caps attached with 22 gauge Christmas lights wire is going to offer any reserve surge current.
