Hey guys I am pretty far along on my fightercat super daytona build and will be posting pictures in the forum. Went with the rudder/drives from HOR racing, leopard 5692s, boat will be run on 10s1p for now until all things are solid then will move up to 12s. To complete my build I need to find two escs and I'm not sure which to go with. I am torn between the sf300, sf240 and the etti 220 escs. I like the etti and sf300 escs because I can run the full 13s the motors are capable of, and when running 12s I have a bit of headroom in the voltage department. It seems a lot of people have run the sf240s so I am assuming its a solid well known esc. Anyway I just want for the boat to run reliably usually on 10s per side with the occasional jump to 12s, just wanted to hear from people with more experience with big HV escs. Thanks guys.

I've been pretty hard on both the 300 and 240 and both have been great. The 300s are ugly and bigger (the wires come out of the bottom which makes mounting more difficult), but have a little higher voltage (and current) limit. IMO either would work well in a boat that size, it just depends what you prefer.Comment
