just a question i have 3 cc bec's 2 have caps on the input and 1 does not is this a newer version or did they miss the cap all together

My newest does have a cap but my old one on my crawler appears not to.I'd have to pull it and unshrink it to confirm.

the reason i figured it out is i blew a cap on one and went to replace it and went to see what value was on it and one that i looked at didnt have a cap but the other did it was a lost cause anyway replaced the cap and it still didnt work o well guess i will just order another

There are alot cheaper options than a $30 CC if you are under 5s. By the way,how did you blow it?

i have no idea and there only 20 bucks on fleabay i was just running my mystic starting 2nd lap and it just quit

Boy that is odd,Are you waterproofing them?It would only take a drop of water to shut one down.

well i think water was the killer cause i had allot inside the boat when i brought it in could not figure out where it came from and no it hasnt got here yet

I coat everything with Liquid electrical tape.For the sake of a bit of time and some heat shrink it is worth it.

yep i hear ya i hate smoke thing is ive never had water in this boat and in 2 laps i had 1/2 a cup go figure

well i checked that first all were on and zip ties were tight i think it may have came up the stuffing tube

Despite all my efforts I still get that.Hence the making sure everything is waterproofed.
