Hi all looking at the Etti 150 opto esc noticed in the add the option of buying a E035 35 volt capacitor bank .What is the purpose of the capacitor bank? How is it connected and mounted in relation to the esc ? Regards Andris Golts.

When drawing large amount's of power you get what's called a ripple effect,the ripple effect can kill your ESC faster however a Cap bank help's to stop that.
A Capacitor also act's like battery it store's power as well and the reason for that is for when you hit the throttle wide open from a dead start it release's it's stored energy in the ESC,Cap's also dicharge energy very fast.
You want to Solder the wire's from you Cap Bank onto your ESC's wire's that carry the power from the Battery's to the ESC,I know from RC Car's that I used Cap Bank's with for ESC's that could not handle some motors bottom end punch the shorter you could keep the Cap Banks wires and closer as well to the ESC itself the more it helped.
Another benefit to a Cap bank is they can help your ESC to run cooler. -
