    Castle esc trouble... Help!

I bought an MHZ C5000 and it has two castle 120 escs. When I power them up, only one comes on, the other takes like 2 minutes then comes on. When I try to run the boat, it goes about 10 ft then both cut off. And are blinking red. Anyone have any ideas. I've only had castle esc's in my trucks.

Are both of them using the BEC? If so that may be the issue. Disconnect one red wire on one ESC cable to the receiver, or disconnect both and use an external power source - battery or BEC. If not, then I don't know what the problem is.

No, already have one of the esc's with the red wire disconnected.

This sounds like low voltage. I'd double check the settings.

Double check the settings and reset the throttle limits one at a time.

When I was looking up the programming on the castle site, it says if you use more than 3s lipos you have to use an external BEC. I was attempting to run it 4s and I was using one of the esc's to power the receiver. Would this cause the problem?

Does castle have a calibration for throttle position? because unlike HW 180a, I usually calibrate both esc, so both would spin together without any lag
