    castle hydra ice hv200 waterproofing

    on my third one last two burnt up got alot of tips from some great people here on this forum. im in the process of changing my prop to a smaler one, lifting the strut, removed about 20 inches of battery wire. i dont believe the esc is getting wet but i got some corroision x on the way what will be the best way to apply this should i just soak it in a glass full or just remove the plastic covers and spray it down very good anybody out there done one of these castle hv200 thanks for any help, geno

    Yeah i just dip my esc's, rx's etc. For about 10 or 15 mins and pull it up then repeat after 24hrs.....i just did an ipod docking station that i take to the beach every year, well last year it quit....so ill let tou know how it goes this year after corrosion x

      I sprayed my ice with the corrosionx HD, its thicker and is suppose to stick longer. So far its working. I sprayed from the cap end until it came out the other. I bought it from academy sports.

          Have you tried it? Not sure a receiver is proof, the Flysky receivers can be dunked without coating and they survive.

            If u look on there he does a test with a 110 light bulb and holds it in with his hand but yes I have done some testing and it works great so far
