Looking for advice on a ESC for Turnigy 500 H3126 in a hydro

Hi there, I have question as to what Amp of ESC this Turnigy 500 H3126 1600Kv motor would ask for at full power. I see on HobbyKing recommended 70A ESC. But is the demand alot higher in a boat than a copter?

I am wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I am new and building a hydro. What would you guys think this Turnigy 500 H3126 1600Kv would ask for in a 31" long 16" wide hydro?

The batteries used are 2 x 5000mah 5s 30C batteries. Being it is twin motor with water cooled mounts.

The props I am using are either a X640 type or X440 with solid shaft drive.

Any advice would be great so I do not create a speeding fireball on the water
    Thanks all!

I ran a venom p1 with the sane motor on 5s with a turnigy/seaking 90a esc with an x640 prop with no issues. I would prob go with the 120a though.

Exactly! It is good to be different sometimes. It is freaky looking, That is what attracted me to it. And the modification possibilities. I am changing the hatch look too ,, The boat is mainly a outrigger in my opinion. But still. Dare to be different!
