    If I add the caps to the turnigy 120a esc will it handle 6s

    It will but for how long I have about ten 6s runs on my swordfish (aquastar) esc

        Maybe 3-5 min it's not hot at all just expect the bec to go sooner or later

          If the bec goes can you still run an external battery pack to power the rx

            yes but why not just run an external battery pack to begin with??? The 6s is not the main concern, your amp draw will be what you need to be worried about.

            I replaced the factory caps with the ones steve sells here and ran it on 6s a few times with no problems, didn't get hot at all. (aquastar)
