    castle hydra ice 240

had my first run with the new hydra ice 240 and that ESC and me are going to be gooooooood friends.
a little pussled over the rpm messuring though. it shows that i had rpm`s around 40-50k all the time with a max of 60 764rpm. and this out of a leopard 2000 kv motor on 4S2p that should have unloaded 33 600 rpm.

that beeing saied. it was well worth the wait

Good to hear. Did you set the number of motor poles in the software to 4?

In Castle Data log go to the Edit menu and there is an option to change the pole count.

Should have mine hopefully tomorrow or the next. Great info on the number of poles. I would have surely messed that up as well.

If you are using the ICE on different pole motors, the software in your computer will remember the last number of poles you set. That means you may have to change the pole count in the software every time you use an ICE on a motor with a different pole count. Not a big deal and easy to do, you just have to know about it.

Not sure about using any radio. Stick transmitters and pistol transmitters have different throttle ranges (milliseconds) That is why some esc's require the use of a Pistix. Not sure about the castle ICE.
