Hi all looking at buying a small 45 amp Etti brushless esc for a micro hydro. Are Etti esc good quality ? What experiences and results have boaters had with the Etti's? Which hobby shops sell them in Canada and the U.S.A ? Regards Andris Golts.

Like i said i have both types, Its only the water cool pipes that are different between the 2 types. I have actually found that the one pictured with the pipes coming out of the same side also has its advantages because it is shorter in length because of not having an outlet at both ends. So in certain small boats it can make instalation easier if your very tight on space & can make it enen shorter still not having to have a silicon water pipe coming from both ends. Whatever one though their very good esc. Re setting up with beeps i know its considered a pain useing beeps but its realy quite simple because when setting for boat use you only really have to go into 2 of the 6 modes ie battery type & cell count, & timing. The other 4 modes are set at default so no reason to change them for boats. Thanks MartinComment
