    Etti ESC Question

Not too long ago I purchased a Etti Brushless Navy Race 150 Opto and CC BEC from the forum. For heat racing setups, would it be ok to use the CC BEC or should I run an external 6v battery for my servo? I also would like to know from those you have experience with the ESC, which of these two cap boards would be the best?

I used the first one. I believe the second one is for the etti hv esc only. I ran a 6volt nimh rx pack with mine, no experience with the cc bec though.

I run a Rx pack on my Etti's and as far as the Cap bank it is the first link. The second is for the HV series.

I ran my Etti 150 with the Castle BEC with no problems. I did not use the extra capacitors on mine. Setup was Hacker 8XL with 4s1p.

I didn't install the capboard at first. I ran a Feigao 8xl on 4s in a ul-1 and a m445 prop. I popped the caps about 4 runs in. Pulled off the garb and added a capboard and it was better than new!!

I wonder if the HV cap board is better, safer and wont affect performance.

Trini I use the cc Bec for a few years now with no problems, great in rigger and hydro hulls were space is limited. Trouble free
