    etti 150-300

I needed an opinion on useing the Etti ESC Race. It states it will handle 300 amp bursts with 3-7 Lipos at 30 volts, a little more than Castle. Will these generaly hold up better than Castles 240?

Gary, all brands have flukes, we've learned it by now, with that being said, there has been records broken with the ETTI ESCs

There is no perfect esc even the Schulze's at $600-700 fail. I've seen a couple of them smoke just by plugging them in. You pays your money and you takes your chances. From what I've read and heard people have pretty good luck with the Etti's but I would add the extra capacitors for extra assurance of success.

Yea i cooked a schultze one time, and many hydras. I stay with the LVs because the HVs would go up in smoke faster. Its crazy. One of my Hydras lasted almost a year with 75 passes on it. After that one every 20 passes. Getting a little expencive. I cant warranty them because i conformal coat them do to the fact that the boat crashes real hard now since im close to 100mph and will take on water and hurt the esc. I guess a 1527 on 22 volts is a little harsh LOL
