I know the ProTek RC ?Prodigy 625 DUO Touch AC? LiHV/LiPo AC/DC Battery Charger (6S/25A/200W x 2 ) is an older charger. They are $62 on their website. I?m thinking about purchasing.
My question is . How does it measure up to the chargers of today?

IDK anything about it but reading the specs I'd jump on it. Sounds very good.

when I did a search this popped up looks like a HOTA clone for $30. Def not the level of the Protek though.

One thing though is the Protek has a very lame balance current (400mah) its common to have at least 1000mah or more nowadays.

If your RC fleet leans toward high-capacity LiPo/LiHV packs and you are okay with manual setup, snag it at $62. But suppose you are into smart batteries, portability, or cutting-edge extras. In that case, you might want to eyeball newer options like the SkyRC T200 (around $120) or HTRC T240 Duo (around $90), which balance modern perks with solid performance.

I kinda wish I bought the Skyrc or similar. I went with the ISDT P20 instead. Basically bought on a whim. Bad on me. Now Amain is sold out of every ISDT charger they make.
