if you want some fairly decent battries for sport use try hobby city with the turnigy or zippy battries (flightmax/rhino) they also sell charges http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...5&v=&sortlist=

I have been eying this charge from them for a while:

          http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...lancer/Charger

          http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...(USA_Warehouse)

These are a knock off the e-station Bantam charger, at least the menus are, which is very easy to use. Circuitry may be similar or exact as a re-branding, not sure. The iChargers are also very popular also. What I like about these is they have battery memory saving profiles that other chargers don't have and that is important if you have different type and battery capacities. I'm tempted to get a Turnigy just as a spare as they are extremely reasonable for the price.

By the way I have a Bantam e-Station and love it. Solid as a rock, this one in particular: http://www.rcaccessory.com/index.asp...ROD&ProdID=354

I spent weeks to a months reading and reviewing features, cost, issues, availability, etc and at the time the the e-Station was hard to beat and I still don't regret it, but you can't go wrong with a Hyperion or Thunderpower either as they were the runner ups at the time. They way I decided was to line up the features, cost, issues, limitations, reviews, name brand and see what is important to you and go through a process of elimination. Also, since you are using Lipo's, a Lipo sack is an ideal investment for safety.

          ~Good Luck.

A couple of good battery suppliers stateside are Southriver R/C boats and RC Lipos Both Jim & Pat are great to deal with! I have been dealing with Jim @ South River alot lately - he lives in the next town over so no shipping charges incurred! Extermely knowlegdeable too!

But both have great products & are good to deal with .... Pat at R/C Lipos really likes us FE guys!

Jim sells the Hyperion G3 batteries & this things are really a great product and the price is right!

There was a very noticable difference in performance in my sons UL-1 with the G3's! You pull the throttle wide open out of a turn and its like you turned afterburners on!

I got a set(4s) for my Toysport Jolly and can't wait to get it in the water! Just waiting on ESC's

Its good to see the Gas guys migrating to FE, we must be doing something right

If you want a good charger look at the hyperion Duo chargers, Dual ports so you can charge two packs at the same time while they balance together (sync) as well.

You could check out this charger. It doesn't have a built in balancer but you could use two LBA10 balancers together and charge two packs at once up to 12s.

Scotty, thats a very solid charger at a smoking deal. 1.5 years ago I paid full price for that charger. I am sure they are discontinuing them for some reason, but that charger and two LBA10 balancers is the ticket for sure.

You could even buy one balancer now, and get one later. I have the EOS0615i DUO 3 charger and I love it. Two batteries at one time, all kinds of features. But it's 300 bucks.

One big feature I love about the Hyperion chargers is TCS. I can charge my lipos to 95% capacity and it takes less time to charge a pack which = more time running.
