Looking to replace Revolectrix 5000mAh 2S LiPO -70C Silver Label GOPACKS

    Hey everyone,

It’s been a while, for the past 7 years I’ve been happily running my boat year after year with the same setup and Lipo’s. So I’ve got a 2s pack now that’s toast and I’m looking to replace these Revos and to my surprise? there gone! I’ve dropped in from time to time over the years to see what’s going on in the forum, the battery section doesn’t have to much recent stuff but I’ll ask. What packs are you running in 2024? Any improvements with lipos over these years and any recommendations to replace these old Revolectrix? I mostly do oval speed runs and straight rips when it gets choppy.

    Thanks!

Well I would recommend SMC packs. Plenty of options if they are in stock. Stellar performance and great luck here. Price point is worth it IMO.

SMC, CNHL are some of the best tested packs at the moment.

Thanks! SMC look like great packs, they might not ship to Canada but I emailed them to give it a try… I’ll check out CNHL, appreciate the suggestions!

If anyone else north of the border comes across this thread, SMC will ship to Canada, just email them and they can provide a quote. The SRD-V3 250c Speedrun packs or the High Cycle Life-HP 150C look like solid options. Although the CNHL G+Plus 70C packs are easier to get, shipping within Canada and probably half of the cost by the time it’s all said and done… I wonder how much they differ, decisions to be made…

If you're not racing and after every last drop of performance, price certainly is a huge factor. The G+ 70C packs I own perform great, balance out easily, no issues.

Good find! MLboatworks didn't end up having any left in the configuration I'm looking for but Thanks for putting it out there Bande1!
