New to R/C boats. Just bought a new Sonicwave 36. Need to buy batteries and charger, any idea's or recommendations? Plus any other upgrades I need to do before I run it.? Any help appreciated. First time on the forum also. Thank's Dan

Welcome to the forum Dan. Batteries I would go with Dinogy Battery from Mark or Giant Power from Mojo racing if Mojo is still selling. Roaring Top is another good brand. You can check HobbyKing for the Panther series. You will want at least a 40c rating and Higher C rating is better. This is the discharge rate so 40c x 5 amps(aka:5000mah) = 200 amps, and that should be plenty for that boat. If you get lower C rating the battery may swell due to over-discharge.
