Batteries??

I have a Traxxas Spartan with Traxxas 3S 5000mah 25C. I recently bought a Proboat sonicwave. They recommend using a 3S 50C batteries. Could I use my Traxxas batteries with an adapter to EC5? I?m new to Lipo batteries and don?t know if this would destroy the batteries or esc?

Short answer is no .
The C rating is what the LIPO can safely discharge without catching on fire along with your boat , so to play it safe you need a LIPO with a C rating of the same or better then recommended.
