2 2s in series or 1 4s

Using 1 4S for heat racing instead of two 2s in series. Do you think 1 4S would be okay to complete a race and not too hard on the battery?

If the capacity and C ratings are the same the motor/ESC won’t know the difference. The only downside coukd be getting the CG the same, depends on the boat’s layout.
