    Battery question (new guy)

I have what i hope is not a silly question. I have a Proboat Zelos 36 and am running a 4 battery setup. My question is, is it OK to run 2 3s 5200mah 50c batteries and 2 3s 5200mah 75c batteries. So what I was thinking was one 50c and one 75c together to one esc and one 50c and one 75c to the other esc? is that ok or a huge no no?

I am NOT saying NO don't do it.

But to be safe the rule of thumb is all batteries should be of the same type, size, and chemistry.

If not one battery pack can get run down too far, and the other pack is still good before you see a performance drop.

My self, I always go for the higher "C" rating batteries.

The higher the "C" rating along with the higher "mah" rating gives you HIGHER Voltage Under Load

Voltage under load is RPM on your motor, seeing that our motors are rated as KV
KV stands for RPM per Volt.

good info! Then ill get 2 more of the 75c! Thanks so much!! i don't want to violate forum rules but since your here, I don't suppose you could recommend the best prop for my boat? I don't want to mess with sharpening or balancing, something I can install right out of the box that will increase performance?

Search for the Zelos tuning thread. Lots of info on setup there. On my phone or I'd throw you a bone and link the thread. Lots of us running x447 sharpened and balanced right around 70mph.
