Battery Testing

i am trying to figure out budget issues and need to figure out a way to check out three sets of 2s lipos I currently have to see if they are still up to racing. If not I will use what money I have to buy new batteries. Hopefully they are still good so I can get a second boat to run this year.
Anyone have any inexpensive ways to put a load on them and see what kind of shape they are in?

I found out a pair of 4s packs went soft after I put them in my p mono that runs 2p.. Went out 50ft and speed just cut in half like lvc.
