Can I use a 2 cell and a 4 cell to make 6s?

Can I use a 2 cell and a 4 cell to make 6s? Of course it is common to see people using two 3 cells in series. But in my BJ 24 it's a little tight and one 6s battery will be though to balance in the boat. If I could use a 4 and a 2 cell I think I could get it to work.
