looking for opinions on lipos for my conversion

i have a aeromarine team believer 36 inch cat. i just purchased a neu 1527 1250 kv motor. and im going with somewhere between a swordfish 240 to 300. i want to run 2 4s packs. What c rating and brand do you guys reccomend. i am undecided on props at the moment. will start off small. thanks for all your help

Everyone has their own favorite battery brand, most often based on low price, with no relative comparisons, or on the internet posts of others. You will have to decide on your own performance expectations and budget. Regardless of brand, get packs with a minimum of 45C (unfortunately there is no industry standard) and 5000 mAh capacity.

Start with an x447 but you will likely be able to step up to an x450 or x450/3. The final choice will be based on how it is run, heat, speed and run time.
