Hyperion lipos

Five or more years ago Hyperion cells were among the very best. Today....can't comment.

Hyperion have fallen behind compared to the other offerings. As Jay mentioned 5 years ago, they were the best and I still have Hyperion packs that perform great.

I bought a couple Hyperion G6 packs last August : 3S 3650 mAh 30/60C and 4S 4200mAh 30/60/C. The 4S pack is toast after only 3or 4 cycles (flights) and after discharging and charged at storage the 4S pack lost cells 1 and 2 . People at other forums such as RC Groups have been complaining about these packs and with not even a word from Hyperion or their dealers so it was tough luck. Hyperion no longer offers G6 packs and if you have bad packs, that's just too bad.
Hyperion used sell quality packs, now they just like Turnigy, you pay yer money and takes yer chances. Hyperion's reputation has been seriously damaged from that fiasco.
