More old lipo ?

Hi all over the weekend used my 14.8 v 5000 mah lipos my worst fears where conformed they through a burst off power for about 3 seconds to push my tunnel hull to 38 mph then drop off to about to 27 mph after a 3 minute run im putting back about 2500 mah voltage is around 16.2 volts when charged. My ? here is i would like to use these lipos as practice pack and maybe turn a x440 prop with a AQ 2030 for no more than 3 minutes. Could there be any problems doing this? Regards Andris Golts.

Are the packs puffy or hot when you got the boat back in ?
I have some old ones that I did not notice were getting weak till I put a different pack in one boat and saw how fast it was going
My old packs get used in my lesser set ups now
