    Question about battery wiring

A friend of mine has a big 48" mono that aeromarine built for him. He is having some battery issues with it. Aeromarine is of no help to him because they are gas guys so he's asking me. I have no experience with running batts like this so I figured you guys could help because I don't want to steer him wrong. Here's his setup:

    Castle 2028
    Sf300
    (2) 4400mah 70c batts run in series for 10s. X468 prop.

Batteries ballooned. I can understand why as he only has 4400mah on tap. I told him he needed at least 10k but for now he has (4) of the 4400 batts. Can he run two on each side in parrallel and then series them into the esc? Like this :

Excuse the lack of drawing skills lol

I have a 41" cat with 2028 and use 10s 6600mah 40c Revos and also a 48" sport hydro and use 7400mah 60c Revos. Here's how I have mine wired, pretty much what you're showing. I'm able to complete races with no issues, 25%+ after 8 laps.

DO NOT WIRE THEM THE WAY YOU HAVE PICTURED

THAT IS A DEAD SHORT ON EACH SIDE
Wiring Diagram on the way, I have to draw it ,scan is, and post it.

You sure? The dots are where wires are connected. So it's like this:

One side batteries, positive and positive together, negative and negative together. Other side the same thing. Then run a positive (pair) to the esc positive. Then run the negative (pair on the other side to the negative on the esc. Then jump the remaining positive (pair) and negative (pair) together. No?

Maybe the other drawing might be easier ...

From what I see it's the same as (2) 5s2p's wired in series to make a 10s pack.

                  My mistake.

When I first look at you print, I was thinking the two batteries on each side were suppose to be series. Like in my print and OSRACEL's print.

I always think Series first then Parallel

Your print shows 4 three way connections. - a lot of extra soldering also.
