    Revo 435 vs 427 ...

Have any of you guys had the chance to test the Revo 435 70c's against the Revo 427 70c's ?

Aside from the fact that they are 4.35v capable... Do you guys think there would there be any sort of difference in performance between these if they were all charged to typical 4.2v?
Would there technically be a higher (nominal?) voltage under load, ie. less sagging voltage with the 435's in comparison?

    To answer your first question:
I've assumed that the 427s were capable of higher discharge, just based on the rest of the lipo industry. The higher voltage-capable cells have been lagging in current capability. I could be wrong; they could have completely caught up. I really doubt they surpassed their predecessors though.

In regards to the second question:
No. According to the manufacturer, the difference in chemistry allows overcharging without excess gassing. It shouldn't have anything to do with voltage sag. Technically, if you were comparing two lipos of the exact same mah rating, I would expect less sag from the lower voltage lipos due to their higher capacity @4.2v/cell.

The wildcard here is if one type of cell was simply a better cell for high discharge. However, the HV component shouldn't have anything to do with that.
