3s in series vs 6s in parallel?

Kinda new here so your thoughts on this please. If a set up needs 100 amps to work right and I'm just using round numbers for example it seems to me that 2 6s batteries supplying 50 amps each instead of 2 3s batteries supplying 100 amps each through all that wire the 6s in parallel is the way to go. So 2 6s 2500 40c or 2 3s 5000 40c?

It makes no difference really, generally the 3s 5000 packs will have thicker wire than the 6s 2500 packs so wire losses will be about the same, I would use whatever you can get cheaper or whatever will be more useful to you in other models.
