    Revoelectrix blown cell?

    IMAG0670.jpg

    Charged up my 6S 5500mah battery for the first time and I got the following voltages:

    C1 = 4.11
    C2 = 4.16
    C3 = 4.17
    C4 = 4.20
    C5 = 4.20
    C6 = 4.19

    Looks like the first three cells aren't charging properly. I'm going to try and cycle the battery a couple times to see if that'll fix it. If not, do I have a bad battery?

    How is Revoelectrix customer service? (purchased online through Singapore store)

    Balance charge. Leave it on the charger till it balances.

      I retired mine in less than a year. They would no longer stay in balance.
      You may get them to balance but as soon as you cycle them under load you'll be playing the waiting game again.

      Next month they'll be a year old and have less than 100 cycles on them. Gonna reward them with a nice salt bath for their birthday! Probably go all out and invite some LNE 6000 65Cs the same age to the party as well. Good times!!!!!!!! I'll take some pics at the party.
      I'd buy Zippys before I purchase anymore "Labels"

      What is customer service? Of course your results may vary. Good luck!

        Typically "bad" lipos have either a dead/near dead cell, or high IR on one cell. What charger are you using and do you have more than one lipo?

          I have a Hitec H4 charger with the Hitec ePowerbox 30A power supply.

          Set the charger last night for storage, came back in the morning and the cells were a lot closer. The cells are now in the range of 3.78-3.82. Another cycle or two and hopefully it'll settle properly. *crosses fingers*

          I have another 6S 5500mah revo. It's not in the camera shot, but its voltages are near perfect. Fully charged, the cells were 4.19-4.20. Storage voltages were 3.78-3.79.

            I've noticed that with my packs when I got them ... after a cycle or 2 they are perfect match everytime.

              Keith: Say IR is 2-3 and the rest is around 1 during a charge of all 4 of my 3s packs. But they match fine before and after a run. It's been like this ever since I got the packs new.
              Could that be a bad cell in one of them, or would IR be alot higher?
