    Anyone ever use these connectors?

I was looking online for done bigger bullets than the 6.5 castles I use. I have to have my battery and Esc wires in a plastic plug because sometimes I'll get in a hurry and likely blow my hand off or something. So in my search I found some ec8 connectors. They look a lot like ec5 but have 8mm connectors. They are not made by the company who makes the genuine ec5 connectors tho.

I have used them on my 1/10th scale without issue though we are not talking about heavy amp setups in my boats

They sell those red ones, right? How would they compare to the castle 6.5's that are rated at 200amps? (Which I'm pulling more than that!)

Castle 8mm bullets set up polarized? Only downside is the battery *could* be plugged into itself?

Or these are rated at 240 amps: http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/rcpropl...08asp6/p378177

You could also look into the Anderson Power Pole - they are commonly called Sermos in the RC world. The PP120 is rated at 240 amps and the PP180 is rated at 350 amps. There is also the multipole family rated at up to 350 amps also. andersonpower.com

The castles are polarized and very safe connectors. I'm just out growing them in some of my boats.

What amperage are you needing? I know Castle makes 6.5mm polarized connectors...and then plain 8mm bullets (rated at 300 amps)

I have the 6.5mm green connectors. They are rated for 200 amps. I'm pulling 240 at the least. The get fairly warm quickly. I want some connectors in housings like my green ones but 8mm. That's mainly what I'm looking for.

Because I saw in stock and got order happy. It was $40 for the 15 pairs, then what ever shipping. They actually had 38 when I made the order so I let someone else have a small shot at them..... lol
I am sending them to Travis tomorrow.

I will mention, the nice part is that they come apart and go together nicely.
Most 8mm bullets are a pita to seperate
