I think the problem they'll have is that nobody has the gear to charge them properly. Some of us do but I'd say in the grand scheme of things not that many. Me... I'll be waiting for a new standard to be adopted before investing too much in these half steps to whatever a new standard might end up being. Great to see technology advancing though. Be nice if Revo could hit up some of the major charger brands to get on board with firmware updates & clear instructions on how to work with these batts.PERTH AUSTRALIA

1) I'm using an icharger 106b. ..the cheapest one, it charges to 4.30. That's good enough for me. Great charger and cheap.
2) I think it's not just the overall voltage that counts, it's the nominal...where a regular lipo is 3.7 and the hv 427 revos are 3.80...the voltage drop under load on the 3.80 is less than the 3.70...which I've experienced in my testing.
3) I only picked up 1 mph charging at 4.27 vs 4.20 which further backs up the fact that the voltage drop is less. I did experience a good increase in speed over regular lipos when swith in to the 427's....I think the benefits will still be there even when charged to 4.2.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

I'm sure the 455 available in dec will be the lower c. I feel better having the high c because some of my stuff needs it and I'd rather have it and not need it. Makes for less stressed components.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment
