60Cx3200mah=192,000. Place a decimal after the third 0, which gives you 192 amps. I've never ran that low of power, in a boat that big. You may puff the battery packs.

    I typically run 50C, 5000mAH packs.

First, I do not believe that any packs are actually 60C; there is no way for us to test for these values, only relative performance. I would almost guarantee that if the OP were to pull a constant 192 amps until the packs were down to 25 percent capacity they would be very hot.

If the OP's cat is set up well then he is probably under that amp draw, what really matters is not some number but how the setup performs. If he can run down to 25 percent without overheating anything then all is fine.

        Thanks for the info guys
But I've ran the boat several times with my amp meter on board and the most amps it's ever pulled was 129.7amps
So I thought that with that been below my lipo am page the lipos would be ok

The higher the "C" rating + the higher the mAMP's = higher voltage under load
Higher Voltage under load = Higher RPM ( because our motors are rated by KV)

A higher mah might be something you'd want to look for

In ur next set of lipos for longer run time. Unless weight is a factor in racing.

Max amp draw means little, it is average which matters...how hot were the cells? What was the ending capacity? You should be plenty safe, but higher capacity cells will run longer.

Only if you believe the different makers' published "C" ratings. Tried any 130C packs lately? One company's 65C is another's 45C. What they really are is anyone's guess. For max motor performance the highest true "C" and the highest capacity should be best. But for best boat performance that may not be true.

I was getting ready to post something very similar.

Manufactures Stated C ratings mean very little. IME beware of anything above 45C.

So your saying my "SAW" setups that have logged close to 300 amps on a 5000mah 65c lipo, numerous times, actually only pulled 45c which would be 225amps. I guess all my loggers on all my esc's are wrong ?

I am sure Doug will set you straight helping you to understand what "C" really means.
