Doug.... I have a few things I want to throw out there....

    1) i did post a label a while back when I received my first revo packs. It had 5000mah on it and 65c. It also had 3.7v. Well as we all know, these cells when charged to the extra voltage are actually 3.8v cells. I think the label was meant for if you use the cells in a non hv mode (in other words only charging to 4.20v) I'm no expert but just a little thinking about it tell me that. I could be wrong...won't be the first time lol.
    2) do I think it's a 70c battery? Hmmm, I'm not sure but I can tell you they are by a good margin more powerful than any battery I've tested. I've proven that in my test thread and I also sold all of my other batteries and bought just revo's. That says something by itself.
    3) there has not been any other person on here or anywhere else that I can recall that has knocked the revo batteries. No one I've seen has been dissapointed either. You are the only one I've seen complain about them but haven't posted any evidence, proof, examples, explanations. I'm actually interested in knowing what you've found with them....whether you've had one or more fail, puff or not last as long (as your other batteries) under your type of use. I'm really interested in you sharing that with us.
    4) (not trying to take up for keith by any means, he isn't my most favorite person anyway) But I did contact him a while back and try to buy some revo batteries. He told me he does not push them or care to sell them because he doesn't really make money off them. He has some just for the customers that buy a boat from him and need batteries...therefore would not sell me any. Maybe he just doesnt like me, I dunno. But I think he just doesn't care about selling them.

In closing I want to be clear about a few things...
I'm not looking to argue about this by any means, I just feel very strongly about these batteries because they are truly an awesome bang for the buck and the budget guys like me are able to afford some truly awesome batteries. Is there better out there? I'm not sure as I haven't used anything better but I can't afford $120 each for a 3s pack when I can get one that's probably right in line power wise for like $68. Why buy turnigy or other cheap batteries when you can get these for almost the same price? Not everyone wants to spend $120 each on a battery to sport boat, ya know?

      Thanks Travis.
No argument from me. We are grown men playing with toy boats.

We never got an answer on the labels. Just an oops perhaps. Maybe my 5000s were really 4200s. Stuff happens.

But guys don't attempt bust my chops for trying to keep it real here.

Ok, so every LiPo label is misleading if you take it at face value . I guess it's safe to say some more so than others???

      John,
Man I'm sorry I don't know what to tell you other than,

"bang for the buck"? Maybe? Depends on your expectations.
Dang, right back where I started.

This is all very good reading. Informing and entertaining. I have been looking at these revolectrix packs in my search for a few new batterys. I really have been wishing someone would miraculously chime in with a better "bang for your buck" battery. So far I havent found anyone proclaiming any such thing.

I sure wish I didnt have so much dutch running through my blood. Its so darn hard for me to spend a couple hundo on a couple 4s 5500's

          Later fellas,

Toy boats....yes they are! Very fun too, this hobby is probably the most addictive one I've had yet!

Op...these batteries may not be a "nominal" 70c but they put out a heck of a kick. I did a test on several different batteries I had on hand to compare them. At that point in time I had never flipped my boat under acceleration. ....the VERY FIRST run I made with the revolectrix batteries I flipped it. I was not aware of how much more more it had until I squeezed the trigger. It felt like was close to adding another cell!

Op, please take a second and watch these two videos. These are my first impressions. I had never run these batteries yet. Listen to what I say in it...

Travis, curious as whether you have used new type of charger so far.
Too many boats, not enough time...

Yes I have. I've been using the cheap icharger 106b. Packed full of features and very budget priced. It will charge to 4.30 also. I charged the batteries to 4.27 and did a back to back test. It picked up only 1mph. The real benefit of these batteries isn't the higher voltage you can charge them to, it's the higher voltage they hold under load compared to the average battery.

Hey I just came across my vac u pickle maiden video. We were running 3s 4000 mah 35 or 40 c venom. Then next time we ran it, we use a 5500 revolectrix 70c 3s pack. I know not the same rating but you wouldn't think the boat would sound that much different. Listen for yourself.....

                    Venom:
