    pulse batteries

    I have a 6s 65c 5500 mah and a 6s 65c 5000 mah battery both have maybe 5 runs on them. My question is can i hook these together in series or do they have to be the same mah ? thanks for any help,geno

    They do have to have the same mah rating.

        You can, it will work but its dangerous. I answer this with experience. Ive done it. I didnt have a problem but i did not run it long. You run a risk of running the lower capacity battery lower than the safe limit. ive mixed differnt c rating batteries too. Never ran anything long and I really dont recommend doing it.

          It is not a real problem as long as you are aware of what you are doing.
          In your case you would rate the whole series pack as a 5000mah pack. When using the 20% remaining rule you will only use 4000mah out of the pack. This will leave the resting voltage of both packs at 3.7V/cell after your run.
          Do not be tempted to run any longer or you will ruin the 5000mah pack.
          Your choice.
