The only way you are going to get a definitive answer on that is to buy one of each & test it for yourself.
Battery comparisons are to subjective.
But let us know what you find.
You guys know that when you are buying SMC batts that they are 2P inside, not 1P like Dinogy? You know that all they are doing is paralleling 20C-40C cells to get the 80-160C rating where Dinogy, Giant Power, etc. only use 1P to do the same job?
Configuration 4S2P Hard Case
is in all of there 80C pack specs. Do you actually understand what you are buying and making comparisons to? You know Twisted that got the boot here was raving of them but, never shows much of his success.
Dead serious if you want a crap your pants experience from high end batteries then give some Revolectrix a try. They don't even make them until you buy them. Never seen anything like them before in 7 years and I've tried Dinogy which are quite good.
You never know whats inside that hardcase until you either open it up or burn it up.
I have used packs built like this from Hobby King. They sold 2P packs early on for Traxxas vehicles. I still use them in my LSH PTSS and they are o.k. but, I have ZERO idea if or when one of those paralleled cells goes bad because it's impossible to tell.
These I've used, o.k but, not spectacular... 2S2P 7600's I'd take these over what I have now 7600 2S1P Now can you see the difference?
All lipos are good but i think all world records made with Dinogy.
That would really be something if it were true, but that's definitely not the case. You should check the overall fastest SAW boat record and see what he was running.
Like Ray said, the Revolectrix 70C lipos are unlike anything I've tested. My latest records were set with Revos.
Should probably try this revo brand out, dinogy is pretty good, explosive power but if there is something better i would gladly make the switch.
May sound like a stupid question but if they're a bit higher in voltage, how do you charge them to 4.27v per cell? I use an older hitec duo charger so maybe the more advanced ones allow for manually programming voltage or something?

I really need to try these Revo packs....
as for now my Magnum packs deliver more power and hold volts better during a heat race vs my dinogy/giant power packs...

I'll be ordering some very soon. Just gotta figure out what I'm doing charger wise.
