3s to 2s capacity

Hello once again. Does removing a dead cell from a lipo decrease the mah capacity. Example my 3s has now been made into 2s due to a puffed cell. Does this inturn reduce the mah capacity by a third… lipo was originally 5000mah, would it now be 3333mah?

No.
It will still be 5000mah but only 7.4V now. Not 11.1V
