    Lipo run-in

Hi all, was curious to know if lipo breakin was necessary with brand new lipos. Those of you who never go through the process of breakin have you ever had any issues? For those who strongly recomend breaking in, how do I go about it with my lipo balance/charger?

I am a oval racer so I am running high power set ups mainly (6000 watts) I have found breaking in the Lipo's adds to the power and life they produce.
Even the best cells you can buy benefit even on low power setup's (spec classes) in fact they benefit the most.
I cycle them 5 times on a good balancing charger, FMA Power Lab, at 1C charge and discharge and it takes about 3 cycles to get them to balance on average.
Once they are balanced I increase the charge to 2C and the discharge to 40 amps for 2 more cycles making sure they stay in balance then they are good to go!
They are generally good for 3 years after that.
I believe based on the above that ANY user can benefit from cycling them 5 time before use.
