    C rating Question

can I run a 65c-130c lipo on a seaking 120amp esc? This would be on a revolt 30 with the stock motor and stock prop as of now I have plans to upgrade the prop later down the road. Just wanted to make sure the c rating is not to much before I order thanks for any help!!!

That C rating is a bit optimistic on the high end, but you will be fine using that rating for your set up. What brand of batteries are you considering? Make you that you are getting soft packs, hard cased Lipo is not ideal fot boat use.

I dont know this particular one, what is the differance between this and the Nano tech? I assume you are using 4s?
Anyway, if you had good experience, go for it.

I've been testing a pair of these A-SPEC G2 lipos in my HPR and so far they've been doing very well. They have been producing as much power as my Dinogys which are also rated at 65c. HK says it is a better formula, but who knows.

if you watch the video on the link at the top left of the picture it will explain in detail but the g2 is just new technology and the batteries are supposed to run cooler better balance plug. I am going one a single 5s I am running 4s now just want to see what it will do with a larger battery I think 6s is too much for this boat.

              I see, thanks guys!
BTW, not sure if stock motor will handle 5s for long, start with a smaller prop and check your temp diligently.
