Need help on battery set-up for my Genesis 900

Hi Guys, I'm just getting into RC boats.

Need your help on which set-up I should go for.

2pcs 2S 6800mah in Series or 2pcs 4s 5300mah in Parallel? Our club limits battery to 4s only.

I know the 2nd option will increase the MAH to 10,600 but will also be heavier.

I will be running the stock 3674 2075KV motor on my Carbon Genesis.

Another question....what is the advantage of running an offset rudder rather than the stock center rudder of the Genesis?

I like the 2s2p batteries , also on the rudder, with it on the side , the rudder is in clean water, if its behind the prop , the rudder is in rough water.
for me I think I get better handling with it on the side,

o ya , just think of it this way, Mah = equals the size of a fuel tank , the more mah u got the bigger the tank is,
but don't confuse it with voltage or electric power,
