    Help! Newbie Quesstion

I was int he process of soldering connectors on my Dinogy 4S 5000, and while working with the first pack, I finished one the male connector, and while I was soldering the female, the male touched the metal jig I was using. It arc'ed. Is this battery toast?

As long as you didn't touch pos, and neg together you should be fine. When I solder new battery connectors, I wrap one with painters tape, while I solder the other.

Sounds like it wasn't shorted for long, I think you'll be fine...just put the battery on a balance charge cycle to make sure, then go play!
