Lipo Storage: Which way is the best?

I have a question, if after a run my lipo is at a good storage voltage threshold, should I still put back some or leave it as is? My point being that what does the chemical prefer? Being stored "on the discharge" cycle or the "being charged" cycle.
Excuse me for not articulating my thoughts clearly, hopefully someone will "piece together " my broken thoughts...

I always put my packs for storage.
    Sometimes charges other discharges.
I just make sure my packs to be 3,85v/cell.

    I don't believe there is a difference.

I also use storage charge, I don't think it matters either way which way you go ie charging up to storage or discharging down to storage.

I recommend you always put lipos in storage mode. A discharged battery is actually worse on a battery than a fully charged one.

Thanks Mark, I do that, I was just wondering if I had a short run and the voltage drops to the storage mode , do I still need to "condition" it or just leave it as is.
I know this may be a ridiculous question, but was just curious.

Storage can be between 3.80 to 3.87 at 3.9 or higher I would put it in storage. Now if your going to use the pack in one or two weeks again then I wouldn't worry to much if your close.
