charging battery questions lipo

i got this charger

and trying to charge for the first time but not sure what to set it at. charging 2s 5000 30 to 70c

what amp should i set it at. it got .5 to 5 amp. have it set to lipo that i did get. instruction not very clear

Set it to 5 amps. Change the cell count to 2s also.

i know i new but still trying to get this all going . when charging lipo do u just plug in the balance plug and the set to charge are do u use the banana plug to the battery that has deans plugs are plug in both.


also i got a shockwave 26 bl. it call for a 3 s lipo but not sure what to get to make this boat run well and not burn it up. i want it to preform well. i have Capacity: 5000mAh
Voltage: 2S1P / 2S Cell / 7.4V
Discharge: 35C Constant / 70C Burst. but wanting to get some 3 s for this boat. will the 2 s work i have. and what 3 s battery's to get for this. i was just going to start with some Turnigy are something like that. till i get better . i just dont know how to match up with the 20 are 30 c and miliamps and so on.

Plug the balance to the balance port and the discharge lead to the chargers bananas. Set for LIPo BALANCE CHARGE, 5 amps and 2 cells (2S) for the first battery you asked about.


The more the C rating the higher the load it will take without damaging the pack. The milliamp hour (mah) is the capacity. The higher the longer it will run a load.
