    Lippo battery mount

    All,
I'm looking for a better battery mount. It is for a cheetah single drive, batteries in the sponsons.
I'm interested in a sled type mount where the battery is first mounted to a fixture, and the assembly is then robustly secured into the hull.
Can someone direct me to some?
    Pictures?
    Thanks,
    Larry

I decided to strike out on my own.
I have a chance to learn CNC, and have access to it to it.

For my cheetah, I could not easily mount a sled, receiving tray, and have the clearance for a 6s pack.
      I needed along sled.
I decided to have two 3s packs per side.
Each 3s pack are mounted to a sled, and the sled fits into a reeving tray. I plan on CNC the part of CF plate.
They are big, 17 by 2. The receiving tray will run down the length of the cheetah sponson.

I'm unsure of the attachment of the tray to the mount. The holes are 10.5mm, the channels are 5.1mm. I got these dimensions from some parts I had on hand.
Is there a better choice for the nuts/bolts to mount the sled into the mounting tray? Are they t-nuts? Threaded insert? Flat head rivet nut? Help!!

I can make the Autodesk Inventor IPT file available to anyone who wants it.

            Thanks guys.
nata2run, that is the fastener hardware called? I recognize the normal nut / boll, but the fasteners on the left side of the sleds, what are they called?
            Where can I find them?

No problem Kent, I totally understand. Gotta stay in business right?
I found some thing similar that I can rework, called a Weld Nut
As for construction of the mount plate, I plan on making a left and a right hand version.
To keep it light, I was planning on making it in different thickness. 8 ply, 200GSM carbon for the slots area, 2 ply, 200 GSM for the area where the lettering is.
I make my own CF plate. so making a somthing like that is no big deal.

A 2mm carbon plate is plenty for your hull. I would also have the "fightercat" in one line so that you can bring the drop holes closer and the traveling longer. Hope it makes sense

                          I have some new skilz!
                          I can Waterjet!!
This is a test of a battery sled design I made. I like the results enough that this thin aluminum plate will end up with a polish and translucent powder coat, glue it to CF plate as structure.

here is the finished aluminum plate, this will just be a decorative top for the CF plate.

Not a lot of room in the Cheetah but how about 6s Flat packs.

Yes, not a lot of room in the cheetah, that's why I made LOOONNNGGG sleds. They are 2.5 inches wide, and 16.6 long. to accommodate two, 3s packs on each side.
