which dinogy packs for revolt and miss geico?

i have a stock revolt and a stock miss geico as of now and i plan on trying different props this summer but my lipos are basically done for and are car packs so i want to get some boat packs and found some dinogy 5000mAh 2S 65C Specifications: 7.4V Max Charge Rate6C/30A Pack Weight 275g (9.7oz) Pack Size 19x46x160mm and 6000mAh 2S 65C Specifications: 7.4V Max Charge Rate6C/36A Pack Weight 310g (10 oz) Pack Size 18x48x195mm. which pack would be best in both boats considering the size and weight? i do like more run as possible but not sure if the 6000 is heavy enough to cause performance problems and are they ok to use in boat racing clubs there is one kinda local. I am also wondering where people are getting there gps units and are they waterproof

If it were me I'd use the 6000 Mah . NAMBA rules allow up to 10000 Mah for p limited mono, which is likely what class you'd race with a revolt. The 6000 will hold voltage longer under load also.

You are fine for the geico as well. I raced last season with a geico using 4s2p with 2600 mah packs so 5200 Mah total. They would lose some steam by the end of the race which is why I suggested the 6000 Mah packs. For the 2014 season I plan on picking up some 3300 Mah packs to have 6600 Mah on board, I'm even considering 3700's. for some reason I like 4s2p but 4s1p is fine.

I assume you will be racing under NAMBA rules? Go to www.namba.com click the resources tab and download the PDF for the rule book. Seems like a bunch of stuff and it is but you only need to concern yourself with the electric section.

im honestly not sure if namba and impba is the same or different but it looks like the local club requires a impba membership. i just dont want to buy a bunch of 6000 mah 2s packs and find out i cant use them
