Question about what battery to use

So right now I been using a 5600mah 2s 50-100c nano tech hard case battery's but they are starting to puff but I'm not sure which battery would be the best to use I have multiple vehicles I use them in and need need to be a normal 2s size and I would like the best runtime possible I have a revolt 30,summit with brushless conversion, villain ex, losi 8ight and scte. Max amps look like very nice packs but very pricey

Is the boat all stock out of the box ?

How many minutes of run time are you getting from the two 2s 50c/100c 5600 packs in series ?

Also what are the temps on everything after a full run on the boat ?
    ? ONLY IF THEY WORK

"Normal" size? The more capacity the battery has the longer the run time. The more capacity the larger the pack, so if you want more run time you will need to use physically larger packs. Your 5600 mAh packs are pretty high in capacity as it is. Lenny asked some good questions, you may not want more run time in the Revolt due to heat (although you may want more in the Losi and SCTE).

I'd steer clear of MaxAmps, they have great marketing but the cost/benefit ratio is pretty iffy. Do a search for MaxAmps.....

my boat is box stock i do have a slightly larger prop that i seen a thread on so i tried it (45x68) my temps are good nothing gets hot just slightly warm. I time my run times to 2 1/2 minutes but last week i was at the lhs and bought a pair of venom 5600mah 60c 2s1p packs and ran them for 2 minutes and they performed good and electronics were at good temps. what do you guys think of those packs they seemed to be a decent price amain hobbies has them for 65 and i thought about getting more but want to see other peoples opinion. i like having my packs to match if i can so i can use them consitantly in all my vehicles. also after the 2 minute run on the new venom packs i got they both took just under 2000mah each so im thinking i could posibly do 4 minute runs but am going to try 3 minute next time

            The dinogy 2s 5000 packs are $54. and the 2s 6000 packs are $67.00
Thats a better value and a better product than Venom packs.

The 6000 packs are one inch longer than the 5000s. I'm not sure they will fit your 1/8 scale. I ran a 4s 5000 in my losi 1/8 scale and they fit fine. Either battery will fit your boat.
