UGHH, did I by the wrong battery?

    I have a revolt 30 with a 3675 2200kv leopard motor and 180a turnigy esc.
    I bought 2 4s batteries, they are gens ace 5000mah 40c 4s1p hardcase

I was looking at the leopard motor and the 2200kv says to use 4s2p batteries

    Will my 4s1p be ok?
Want to be sure before using them.

you bought 2x 4s1p packs, so the choice is now yours as to whether you run them individually as 4s1p or wire them both in parallel for 4s2p.

ok, so 4s2p would be 2 4s packs in parallel giving me 4s and 10000mah?
and in series would make it 8s @5000mah?
or do I have that backwards

I will stick to running them individually, I think

      Thanks paul

5,000 1p you'll be fine depending on which plugs you got.
If you used the Gens ace with the 4mm banana ports you may run into issues, but typically 5000 4s1p should be fine with what you have.
