Can you run 2p using different C ratings?

My first set of lipos were the Turnigy 4s 5000mah 40c packs, used once. Then I got a set of Dinogy 4s 5000mah 65c packs. Can I parallel a 40c and 65c together, then series both sets for 8s 10000mah? Or do they all need to be the same C rating?

It is always better to have the same c rated packs along with same manufactures. You could try it for 2 laps and check the temp etc and go from there. The harder you push the setup the easier to find the smoke.

I wouldn't run them in 2p unless they're the same C rating and same brand.
