    GForce 25C 4000mAh 3S in Proboat Shockwave V3 BL

Wondering if running this lipo http://www.valuehobby.com/power-syst...ah-3s-trx.html would be ok for sport boating around. I've never had lipos under a 40C rating. Shockwave is all stock. Esc says it needs a minimum on 20C. Lipos look like a soft case rather than hard. Thanks.

Will that battery work? Yes, would I use it, no.

Nothing less than 30C for boats - higher (40C +) for hotter setups / racing.

Yes it should be fine for that stock setup,
Just try and run it for 1 to 2 minutes and bring it in and check the temps on ever thing.
Especially on the stock cheapy connectors,
Than if all looks good run for three minutes more and check temps again.
And the soft case is what you want for boats most of the time,
They are a lot easy to check true temps on.

The battery will be good for this setup .
I also agree with lenny that you should check the temps and everything 2 or 3 times. if the battery heat up then this will not work with this setup.

Thanks guys. I'll give it a try on a 2 minute run and check the temps.
