    Venom battery question

Hey all and Hello! Brand new to the FE boating scene and already addicted! My very first question is has anyone had any issues with Venom 5000 50c lipos? I purchased a MG29 V2 and just curious if anyone had experience with these packs and their durability/stability. My LHS has these at a good price compared to what I have found online. Haven't purchased yet but plan to Friday..... Any thoughts??

I have a set of venom 5600 50c's for my boat. If you like to support your hobby shop they run just fine and come with a lifetime warranty. I even have a 3 year old green pack that is actually the most consistent lipo I've ever had. Any normal set of 2s lipo's will be good just make sure they're at least 30c. You could save some money if you want to order online at hobbyking or dinogylipos...

Venom nimh batteries are crap as compare to the same mAh to a Duratrax, but my Venom 1300mAh 3S lipo for my Barbwire are excellent, they keep on ticking and my kids always run them till the boat studders back and at times won't even make it back. which is not good for the batteries.

Thanks for the input guys. After much surfing and studying I decided on the Grim Racer 5000 may packs. Got them from Kintec since I was already ordering a bunch of other stuff too.
