Was at the pond today and the wife was listening to the radio and the truck wouldn't start when we went to leave.
No one around so I thought what the heck.
Spun it up quick too but just don't hold on to long because the bullets get hot fast.
I looked like McGyver to my kids to boot.

I've done the same thing. I used a 1/2 charged 4S 5000 pack and no problem. I have a special cable with short 10G wires in my pit box.

FYI - I actually happen to agree with you on the possible risk of injury from jumping a car battery with lipos. Something I have not seen done or for that matter really don't want to see.
